We stayed in an Airbnb in the awesome little town/park of Big Lagoon (finally a night back in a real bed, wooooo). I had checked out the spot earlier, and upon finding images of surfing in a quick search, thought that we would be able to surf right from the house. Turns out there was a bit of a cliff, and a totally eroded road getting down to the beach, but still close by. When we made it down there, we could see that the surf was HUGE, and breaking really close to the shore... so with our newfound surf researching skills we decided to check out descriptions/recommendations of the spot. The phrase "snaps boards like toothpicks" pretty much sums things up, definitely not a spot for us!
