For the grand finale of our euro-tour, we took a flight a few hours north to Copenhagen. We enjoyed soaking in the cozy vibes in the Nyhaven harbor area, eating lots of

hot dogs

with pickled toppings, and visting a

historic viking site

with 1,200 year old ships on display. We stayed through New Year's, and were so glad we did. Most places in Europe have no fireworks laws for the event, and it was absolute (but exciting) chaos in the city. Walking through the streets to get to the main square felt a little bit like being in World War II, and you had to be super careful you didn't walk into

bottle rockets being set off

at every street corner, but I would definitely go back to experience that level of citywide excitement.
