Headed out to Westport this past weekend for the first time in a while. Conditions were fabulous, what a great way to introduce some first time Westport visitors to the beach scene. The tide was lower than we'd ever seen when we arrived, so the beach was HUGE. We also saw crabs scuttling about in the shallows for the first time ever, so cool.
We tried out a new camp spot (Loge Camps) and stayed in town overnight for the first time ever. Pros: surf and SUP rentals on location, and lots of lawn games in the middle of the campground. Cons: showers are quarter operated (who has quarters anymore?). The beer/coffee section of the camp opens next week, so it'll be interesting to see what things are like once that's open.
