For the last few days of our trip, we headed back west a bit to stay in Revelstoke. We didn't spend much time in town (a bit burnt out on eating out for a week straight), but there were lots of cute spots to eat and get coffee.
From the town, it's only a 10 minute drive to Revelstoke Mountain Resort, and it's only 40 minutes or so to lots of backcountry areas. Unlike Seattle, where you get plenty of snow, but have to drive up into the mountains for it, the area around the town of Revelstoke was SOOOOO snowy. I can't imagine how often people have to shovel, a lot of the piles beside driveways were over my head... and it was only February!
Our cabin was absolutely dreamy, kudos to my rad cousin Erin for finding us such a sweet spot! We had plenty of room for our large group, the view from the hot tub in the front was on point, and there was even enough of a slope in the front yard to build a little ski jump!
